Quilt or Sew Night/Day

Bring your latest sewing and/or quilting projects and join your friends for hours of fun, creativity and relaxation. Escape your busy life for a few hours and use our machines and tables to work on your projects. Call and reserve your spot.

East Lansing: Fridays, 6 pm—10 pm
Fee: $4, We’ll have pizza ready for you when you get here, so don’t worry about dinner

Country Stitches has been selected to host a special demo day. An educational specialist from Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff will be demonstrating along with the Country Stitches staff.

Stop in to see the latest in sewing machine techniques and notions.

Spend time exploring sewing education opportunities. You’ll gain firsthand knowledge of the latest tools available in today’s marketplace, plus see and learn new tricks for our current notions.

Placemats for Meals on Wheels

Country Stitches, with your help, will be creating placemats to distribute with Meals on Wheels for Easter. Call to sign up and volunteer your time and talents on Friday, March 19, 2010 (10 am to 4pm) in East Lansing and Jackson. Meals on Wheels is in need of 400 placemats. With your help, we can make that happen. If you would like to donate materials to make these, please drop them off by February 26th. Finished placemats are also appreciated. They need to be 12” - 13” x 17” -18”. Free pattern available.
